How you can participate in our Canada 150 Project:
- We will be holding a Canada 150 puppet workshop open to the public on Sat Oct 21st as part of our monthly Puppet Pop-Up Studio workshop series. This will be a ticketed event ($10 per person or $35 for groups of 4-6) and anyone ages 5+ can participate. Sign up for our monthly e-newsletter to receive more information about this. Newsletter subscribers will have the opportunity to buy tickets before we open it up to the general public!
- You can participate by using your own puppets and making and uploading your own video. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
- Book your own group workshop ($395 + GST): includes all the supplies to make your own puppets, instruction by Artistic Director Wendy Passmore-Godfrey, and a professional videographer to film each puppet reading a line of the story. This program is ideal for groups of up to 30 people in Calgary (ie. additional travel costs for groups outside of Calgary). The program is suitable for children ages 5+, teens, adults and seniors. Children must participate with an adult. The group will provide the venue. The workshop is 2.5 hours long and can be booked between September 17th to October 22nd 2017. Please contact email@example.com to book a workshop.
- Attend the screening of the video and reception (including puppet making) on November 26th at the Central Calgary Public Library. Sign up for our e-newsletter to be invited!
