Give Back Program

Because we believe charities can give back too!

wpgivesback2W.P. Puppet Theatre Society launched our GIVE BACK program on Giving Tuesday 2014 to give back to the community that has supported us for over 25 years. Our mandate is to help children and adults from all walks of life to have a greater understanding and acceptance for each other and the world, thus supporting Calgary as a safe and caring city.

Our GIVE BACK program waives or discounts our fee for service in certain circumstances, for non-profit groups, schools, individuals and organizations. Since 2014 we have donated our Why the Rabbit’s Nose Wiggles puppet performance as well as hands on workshops and Puppet on the Go crates for children. We have also offered our View from the Inside workshops for teens, adults, and seniors.  Some of the benefiting organizations include Inn from the Cold, Immigrant Services Calgary, Studio C, The Alex, Servants Anonymous, Chaparral School, and United Active Living.

Thank to The Nash and anonymous donors for contributing to the View from the Inside: Courage Journey Workshops on Giving Tuesday 2016!

On behalf of the Mosaic preschoolers, staff and parents, I would like to express our profound gratitude for the puppet show. Indeed this was a very tangible learning moment for the kids. It also provided bonding opportunities for moms and their kids. We sincerely appreciate your expertise and narrative skills. Thanks a lot.
