DECEMBER 2021: FEATURED DIY PROJECT: Jumping People Puppet
This delightful workshop is based on The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. When the little book was published in 1962 he broke the colour barrier in mainstream children’s publishing. He believed if children saw themselves represented in the books they read it would motivate them to develop a love of reading and literature.

The puppet project asks How do you dress for winter? and walks through making a colourful character that can be scaffolded for various ages.
