Support our Family Fun Together Programming
Typically Puppet Pop-Ups happen monthly (and sometimes even more) at different locations throughout Calgary and with a different theme each time. We make puppets and do some dramatic sharing. The workshop actively promotes all family members—youngsters and elders alike—in creating art and drama together. The program goals include:
- Fostering positive social change for a diversity of people of all ages, ethnicity, and communities
- Promoting puppetry as fun and engaging art form that connects people and community
- Engaging youth in our program through Youth Central’s volunteer program
We keep registration to a low $10 pp, $35 for a group, and are part of the Calgary Fee Assistance program with tickets at $3 pp. Sometimes we offer comps. through Kids Up Front. And sometimes we’re even free!
Donations to the program will help families facing economical challenges post Covid-19 to have some puppet fun when we resume live workshops. Meanwhile donations will support our development of online resources that we share through our Social Media channels and website. All donations receive a charitable tax receipt.
