We have many Online Programs Available
We’re excited to be creating online puppet programs which draw from our 30 years of face to face experience. While we’ll still offer live in-person workshops and shows when it’s safe to do so, moving things online decreases geographical, financial, social and functional barriers to accessing our engaging puppet infused programs:
DIY Puppet Pop ups:

Explore Create Play:
This is the name of our planned suite of interactive maker courses designed for k-6/ages 5-12. They are a great learning resource for teachers and homeschool parents and can be used in either an online or classroom settings. Based on a puppet type i.e.: shadow, hand, Bunraku, that we connect to many other subjects and projects ideas. Also, fun for individuals, young and old, who just want to learn more about puppets.
‘Playing with Shadows’ is our first “Explore Create Play” course, exploring the intriguing art of shadow puppetry.
VIEW from the Inside is an award-winning program that invites you to explore your creativity in a friendly, supportive community. In the eight-week course participants make a self- portrait- based puppet which becomes a nuanced artifact resulting in an amazing legacy project!
Synchronous Online workshops for Students
We facilitate synchronous online workshops of any duration for any grade designed especially to meet classroom curriculum needs. Working with teachers we select an age appropriate puppet project, an anchor book or concept and provide instructional support materials.
Synchronous or Pre-recorded Video Presentations for teachers and community leaders cover hands-on puppet making and applications in different settings as well as provide lots of resources and extension ideas.
Puppet Power is our biennial Conference/Festival of Ideas exploring how puppetry can play a role in impacting the social issues of our time.
