  • Recently completed an amazing project to mark Canada’s 150 Anniversary
  • Created over twenty unique puppet productions, with themes ranging from frogs to friendship.  Performances
  • Produce “Puppet Power” an international conference series that shows how puppets broach serious issues like family violence, prejudice or mental health. We train people how to use puppetry for their own social causes and introduce them to inspiring peer mentors.
  • Instigated or partnered with other organizations to teach about Hospital procedures, create puppets for productions, or acknowledge Canada 150 Anniversary and more. See for some of our favourites projects of the past!
  • Western Cut Throat trout for Oldman Watershed Council
  • Large Brainiac puppet for Quest Theatre’s production
  • William created for Alberta Children’s Hospital to alleviate fears and teach anatomy (with Punkerpine puppets)
  • Puppet Direction for Storybook’s production of Avenue Q
  • Performed Christmas concerts with Miss Molly including for hundred’s of kids at the Calgary Firefighters Annual Children’s Party
  • Mentored with Punkerpine Puppets – involved in numerous productions including Baba Yaga – performed to the live recital by Charles Forman of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition
  • Challenged a small group of brave folks to create & perform a puppet show in the space of 8 hours. We did it!
  • Created gigantic shadow puppet imagery for the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra concert of Maurice Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite
  • Created puppets for the Child Witness Court Prep program personifying the various people involved in the court.
  • Performed took an early version of Evolution of Moral Progress: Genus 394Wz to the Festival of Unfinished Projects produced by Les Sages Fous in Trois Rivieres, QC
  • Taught Giant Puppet workshops at the Naramata Centre , BC
  • Created the Big Red Dog for Tom Jackson’s Huron Carol
  • Created Recky and Parker Raccoon mascots for Calgary Parks and Recreations
  • Made a scary Bunnicula for local theatre company production
  • Fashioned puppets from rubber for Team Tread a program about Tire responsibility
  • Brought a whole community of volunteers and partner organizations together to coordinate and present annual Puppet Parties on a cold Saturday in January. Starting in 1996 they had varying names including Whatcha’ ma Call It Puppet Party, Monkey Puppet Party, Dozen Dragons, Why 4 Aliens and more
  • Produced “Beyond the Frame” for St Albert Art Gallery – an interactive exhibit featuring art by Byron McBride
  • Celebrated World Puppetry Day with over 500 people making puppets at Fort Calgary. Check out the fun
