Description
Greedy Frog Puppet Video
This bundle includes the Greedy Frog Puppet Video, an activity guide to accompany the puppet show and the Frog-sicle Puppet Lesson. The original puppet show was created and produced by Wendy Passmore-Godfrey, artistic director of WP Puppet Theatre.

“The Greedy Frog” is originally an Australian folktale, about a frog who swallowed all the water in the world but it’s given a modern overtone with found objects puppets and modern water issues. A child holds the key to the padlock though and faces the world! A cautionary story reminding us that water is an important part of everything.
An activity guide to accompany the video is also included.

Paired with the Frog-sicle lesson plan, this gives students a Toad-ally awesome puppet for dramatic storytelling. Our puppet lesson plans are designed to integrate art, drama with core subjects. They are not grade specific and are created from basic supplies and everyday items found around the house so they are accessible for everyone.
In our lessons we like to include a link to a picture book or video that provides a ‘hook’ for introducing the topic and creating interest in the students. We also include colourful step by step instructions for making the puppet, tips for puppeteers when animating their puppet, and ideas for dramatic play and storytelling.
