One Glove Puppet Project

One Glove Puppet Project is anchored by the book “Because Brian Hugged His Mother” by David Rice and Dyble Thomplson. It is a powerful reminder that every action has an impact and that we are all connected.  A great puppet to make when having discussions about performing simple acts of kindness and service each and every day.

One Glove Puppet front cover imageOur puppet lesson plans are designed to integrate art, drama and English Language Arts. We like to include a link to a picture book or video that provides a ‘hook’ for introducing the topic and creating interest in the students.

Each lesson provide colourful pictures, step-by-step instructions, tips for puppeteers, dramatic play and story starter ideas, as well as general curriculum links for teachers. All of our puppets are made from items found around the house so they are accessible for everyone.
