Tube Worms Puppet Video
This bundle includes an original PUPPET SHOW video of “Tube Worms”, an activity guide to accompany the puppet show and the Angler Fish Puppet Lesson. The puppet show was created and produced by Wendy Passmore-Godfrey, artistic director of WP Puppet Theatre.
“Tube Worms”, is a shadow and hand puppet show performed to Wendy Passmore-Godfrey’s original poem inspired by the extraordinary hydrothermal vents, wondrous deep-water creatures and concern for this precious environment.
Music : Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons.
An activity guide to accompany the video is also included. When you purchase this resource you will get the password for accessing the private Vimeo link.
When the PUPPET SHOW video is paired with the Angler Fish Puppet Lesson, you have a unique and wondrous deep-water creature for your students to create puppet plays with.
Our puppet lesson plans are designed to integrate art, drama with core subjects. They are not grade specific and are created from basic supplies and everyday items found around the house, so they are accessible for everyone.
In our lessons we like to include a link to a picture book or video that provides a ‘hook’ for introducing the topic and creating interest in the students. We also include colourful step by step instructions for making the puppet, tips for puppeteers when animating their puppet, and ideas for dramatic play and storytelling.
